July 2024 Astrology Highlights

July 2024 for me is a dance between dark and light. There are a lot of omens in the transit but there are also some nasty ones that we need to be prepared for. Changing from Gemini season to cancer season gives us time to rest in our emotions where our intuitive truth lies. There are three planets in retrograde this month: Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. The retrograde energy always asks us to go back, to reflect to see if any residuals haven't been cleared out in our past karma. Saturn can certainly bring some harsh truth for you to confront and Neptune requires you to see through the illusion you've been holding onto, Pluto added on some intensity and collective power struggle due to its placement in Aquarius and retro to Capricorn. I felt the key to navigating better from this retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces is allowing your intuition to help you ride the ride. Healing is possible if you surrender your ego and open your mind to higher truth. One aspect that potentially can be disruptive would be Mars conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. But of course, everything has two sides, things that look destructive first may turn out long-term benefits, I will explain it more below.

2 July  Mercury changes sign from Cancer to Leo opposite with Pluto

This energy gives us some boost confidence in our communication and thinking. Mercury in Cancer is in muted water, there are a lot of things that seem hard to articulate, with the energy change to Leo, you will feel more enthusiasm to express your creative ideas and be bold in your communication. But be aware that arrogance and self-centredness can be presented in your communication style as well. With all the personal planet transiting to Leo, they all have to go through the opposition with Pluto. Leo is all about me energy and Aquarius is humantarian energy. So when mercury meet the transformational Pluo in Leo-Aquarius axis, is a transformation of our collective thought form and information from personal centred to community oriented.

11 July  Venus changes sign from Cancer to Leo opposite with Pluto

Venus governs all beautiful things, money and love. For me, this is the energy of "go for it" in regard to romantic love, it's time to make the gestures. Venus in Leo can be overspending and buying things you don't need, so be aware of that. In general, this gives you the vibe of a party queen/ king who knows how to be in the spotlight and attract people. Venus will opposite with Pluto as soon as she moves out of Cancer. This can bring some sort of transformation in regards to love and money. If there is unfinished business or uncleared debts, pluto requries you to do deeper so you could rise above.

20  July    Mars changes sign from Taurus to Gemini

Mars is our drive and passion. Shifting from Taurus to Gemini made me feel an energy of busy communication. Like there are so many conversations or information you need to deal with or process, be aware of potential arguments if you gather all the information without thinking it through, it can backfire.

22  July    Sun changes sign from Cancer to Leo opposite with Pluto

This is a collective energy after some rejuvenation we spend time on our crab, and finally, we are ready to shine and to be creative and courageous. There's a boosted energy of sharing and expressing ourselves. Sun as our vital source of life oppositing with Pluto the lord of the underworld.

For me is connecting our consciousness to the core of the earth, mining the wisdom from the underworld, so the evolutionary human consciousnees can be transform and purified at this time.

26 July Mercury changes sign from Leo to Virgo

Mercury didn't want to stay long in Leo this month, I bet he/she is so eager to go back to his home sign Virgo. This is a strong Mercury placement, it's good if you have some important meeting that involves negotiation, I am sure this Mercury placement will provide you with a clear, organized and objective mind that allows you to speak with order and manners. Be aware of overly criticizing others and yourself.

Pisces energy is highly spiritual and dreamy, floating but also can manifest as illusion and self-undoing through escapism.

Neptune is our higher spiritual consciousness, she is retrograding in the final degree of Pisces, which means the illusion you’ve been holding on to in the past, now it’s time to review and reevaluate it with more awareness, so the harsh truth that Saturn brings can reveal it.

The retrograde period of both planets provides energy for introspection and reality checks. No matter which area Pisces is in your chart, it wants us to review our life where unrealistic dreams lie, where illusion or even deception that has blinded us before now needs to be confronted. It’s time to let it go or strengthen the foundation you’ve been building in that area.

Saturn can certainly bring obstacles and restrictions to that reality, but Neptune requires you to tap into your higher self to allow that higher consciousness to the matter you are dealing with, channelling unconditional love and compassion is the only way that when you confront Saturn’s tasks.

Also, the Saturn and Neptune combination gives me a feeling of applying spirituality in a more grounded way, by doing so, Saturn asks you to be consistent and Neptune asks you to trust your intuition. A great spiritual development period if you make the best use of it.

2 July  Mercury changes sign to Taurus and square Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius

This can be manifested as some sort of power struggle that triggers some heating-up situation in your conversation. Because both Taurus and Aquarius are fixed signs, when they are in a square aspect means they are in a battle no one wants to admit they are wrong. The power struggle you are confronting may related to money or even your self-value. It's good to speak up but be prepared that the other party may not be well received in this energy. Learn to be more flexible instead of butt to head.

15 July Mars Conjuncts Uranus in Taurus (Watch out that day! )

This is a very strong conjunction and it can manifest in so many ways. Mars in traditional astrology is a malefic planet and it's the lord of the war. Uranus is the planet of awakening and you will never be able to predict what kind of shake-up and wake-up call he brings to your life. They both have destructive qualities and when they are combined, it feels like an eruption of a volcano or unexpected earthquake. This certainly can happen as they are in Taurus, Taurus represents our earth's energy. Sudden and destructive conflict may arise around this time too.

On a more positive note and more personal level, this could also indicate some sudden aha moment and realization from Uranus, and Mars provides you with the drive to take action to cut things off. It's gonna shake up things for sure, so expect the unexpected.

20 July Mars in Gemini Trines Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius

When Mars goes into Gemini, be prepared infomation and conversation can get very busy in your life. Gemini is a social butterfly and he is curious about everything, Mars just energise that and provide that drive. It's good timing to learn, communicate, network. This transit has the support form Pluto, which means the hard work you put on social networking can potenatially transform your life for the long run. But also, this has the nagative manefestation too. Mars is naturally aggressive and impulsive, gemini is quick thinking, this two combaines together telling me you might speak your mind to quickly and lead yourself to some conflict. Pluto here just add more intensity to that. It might be some tower moment due to unconsiderate speech but it also can show you who is able to stay in your life.

This Cancer new moon can felt realy nice, there's no too much nasty aspect to it and have venus in Cancer bring benefit to it, so it's really good new moon to intiate things make your heart sing.

20 July Capricorn Full Moon

This Capricorn full moon is a rare full moon as normally full moon won't happen in the same sign twice. And this is the second full moon that happening in this sign. It happens in a critical 29 degree of Capricorn, which bring some sort of ending and illumination to things depends on which house you chart shows. Probablly this ending and releasing is relavant to the matter that come to surface when we had the June Capricorn Full moon. Another thing i want to mention is this is also a degree that Pluto enters back and force couple of time in Capricorn, for me what every you've been back and forth for last couple of years, it's final call and it will be pernmenant.
