Most people know me as Fery in New Zealand,

where I currently reside.

But my real name is:

邱（Qiu）一鸣 ( Yiming)

And there is a story behind it.

Each Chinese Name Carries meaning and expectations

from family and lineage:

And my one comes from a Chinese idiom:

一鸣惊人

It tells a story about

a bird that doesn't sing often, but when it does, it shocks everyone.

And it literally means:

A SINGLE CRY THAT STUNS THE SKY

And this name carries the weight of my life's script

EAST MEETS WEST

I left my homeland for New Zealand in 2018

with minimum English and money, just a suitcase and me

started a journey of self-discovery and healing.

From Atheist to Spiritual Awakening,

I've met my own deepest pain and dark night of the soul

And open the door for spiritual awakening that I have never thought of

From Depression to Shamanic Healer

I've faced a thousand deaths and rebirths of my own,

to initiate the path of a healer, to answer the call in my bones.

I have lived through both cultures

The West opens the spiritual door for me

The East ask me to share the wisdom to the west

I am the bridge in between

Where I Am From

I was born in a city in the south-east in China called Changsha with a history of more than 2400 years.

I came from a lineage where my grandmother is a Chinese Wu (Shaman) who practices magic for healing, and all the women in this lineage are mediums and healers. Due to cultural and political influence, most of them have to shut down their abilities to survive and fit in.

I have also been shut down and denied what has been carried in my DNA until I stepped into the path of shamanic healing.

I am Cancer Rising,

Sagittarius Sun and Capricorn Moon

This means an intuitive soul who is a truth seeker and problem solver.

That alone perfectly describes the balance i will bring in my healing or coaching:

Role Model means I lead by example,

anything i share or teach is coming from embodiment, not performance, I walk my talk.

Hermit means I have natural talent to learn and do things, and I don't do small talk and unnecessary socials.

In 2020, i've encountered my dark night of the soul where life doesn't make any sense anymore. I've tried everything i could to heal to figure out what's wrong with me. Reiki is the starting point for me to experience energy, to open my atheist mind to something bigger than me. It has changed my life and start a journey of energy healing

From a young age, I've had a passion for astrology. I would converse with the stars as if they understood me more than any person ever could. Throughout my personal journey of healing and self-discovery, I have independently studied astrology and taken courses with local astrologers. In 2024, I completed my studies at STA (School of Traditional Astrology) specializing in Horary astrology and subsequently explored soul-centred astrology in greater depth. Now, I am on a path to share astrology through a more intuitive lens.

The Healer's Path

I didn’t become a healer by choice.

I didn’t see spirits as a child.

I didn’t travel to India or Peru for sacred training.

I didn’t follow a guru, a religion, or a philosophy.

I didn’t use plant medicine or psychedelics to awaken my gifts.

I didn’t collect certificates to prove my worth as a healer.

​My path was not chosen — it was lived.

Forged through my own descent into darkness,

and illuminated through feeling the depths of my own pain.

There was a moment when I stood at the edge of ending my own life,

I made a promise to myself:

​If I can find my way out of this darkness,

I will dedicate my life to helping others remember their light.

​That promise became the seed of my awakening.​​

Then I became a qualified Shamanic Healer, Reiki Healer and astrologer,

but this is not why you choose to work with me.​

My lived experience is a mirror,

An invitation for:

The Sacred Rebel to Rise.

Through my own journey of self-reclamation

I broke generational patterns of silence and submission.

I learned to live from my authentic self,

and now I help others do the same —

guiding people to meet their pain, reclaim their truth,

and remember their own power to heal.
